Acupuncture works
Acupuncture originated in China and other far eastern cultures where it continues to feature in mainstream healthcare, both as a stand-alone therapy and in combination with conventional western medicine. Acupuncture is now widely used and accepted all over the world. In the UK more and more people are finding out what acupuncture can do for them.
Please get in touch with me to discuss your particular condition. for example conditions frequently treated are back, neck and joint problems, sports injuries, stress, anxiety and depression, insomnia, menopausal symptoms, IBS/constipation, sinusitis, infertility, pregnancy discomfort, turning breech babies, labour induction.
Initial consultation cost £45 (60 mins)
We will spend time talking about your health and lifestyle. A Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis will be made and a treatment plan for your particular problem formulated and applied. Very fine acupuncture needles are inserted into acupuncture points and left for twenty to twenty five minutes. Advice on lifestyle will also be given.
Further treatments cost £40 (60 mins)
Your particular medical condition and your response to treatment will determine the length of your treatment. However, a weekly treatment for four to six weeks is usual and then your condition is reassessed. A course of 6 treatments paid for in advance is charged at £35 per session
Acupuncture for Facial rejuvination; a natural alternative to botox or surgery cost £45 (60 mins)
After taking your medical history to assess your body’s areas of weakness, problem areas in the face are then addressed. Very fine disposable needles are inserted into specific points. This creates mini trauma which increases blood flow, nutrients and oxygen and encourages collagen to grow. Acupuncture is also given to the body for any problems identified. Finally your face is massaged with bespoke oil. About ten treatments are recommended and then topped up every few months.
